As someone whose job it is to make people's stationery as personal as possible, I always like to buy (or make) gifts that have a personal touch. The easiest way to do this is to have them monogrammed! I've put together a gift guide that includes items I've been eyeing this year that are either monogrammed or have some other aspect of personalization.

This is an obvious one! This is great for someone who bought a house this year, got married, adopted a pet, or experienced some other major life event. Portraits can be of houses, weddings, pets, graduations, engagements, and more. The cutoff for ordering portraits for delivery before Christmas is December 7th. Portraits can also be applied to custom stationery!

I love these monogrammed banana leaf pajamas from Katie Kime. They have a ton of fun patterns, including a bunch of toile patterns specific to different cities for an extra layer of personalization. They also offer other products in the same patterns if you want to put together a whole gift set!

Oxford Pennant has a great selection of pennant flags, both original and vintage. You'll be able to find flags with a city, state, or phrase that someone in your gifting circle will identify with. I even had a Hoboken banner custom made this year that I have hanging in my bedroom and absolutely love!

Cristina V has an amazing selection of customizable bracelets. You can add up to 15 characters, which leaves a lot of room to add your name, their name, or the name of a place that they really love. I also love the look of having multiple stacked on top of each other. They have kids' sizes, too!

There are a lot of great options for this at all different price ranges. I found this one from My Personal Memories on Etsy. They have five different engraving options or you can upload your own artwork. There are also a ton of other fun customizable gift options on their Etsy page.

I love these monogrammed slippers from Land's End. They're super affordable and currently on sale, come in a few different colors, come in women's, men's and kids' sizes, and look so comfy!
Weezie Towels have been on my list for a while now! You can add monograms, names, "Guest" for guest towels, or any other phrase. This is a great gift for someone who has just moved. They also offer adorable bundles for baby products, as well, for new parents.

Mark and Graham has so many customizable gifts. I love the idea of this engraved frame ornament for recently engaged or married couples. You can put their initials and/or the year at the bottom with a photo from the event. Or you can even double up and put a portrait in the frame (this is my plan for a couple friends and family members)!

More from Mark and Graham! There are a lot of great options for stockings out there, but I like these classic options. I would just make sure that the recipient doesn't already have a beloved stocking and that you stuff it with some other fun little gifts.

Anthropologie has these cute beanies that you can customize by mixing and matching the poms to suit your recipient's style. They can be fuzzy, sparkly, colorful, etc. They also have adorable monogrammed kids' beanies!

11. Local Gift Card
Support small businesses this year by getting a gift card to one of your recipient's favorite local cafes, restaurants, or retail shops. If they can't use it now, they can use it whenever it's safe to do so, and they'll be grateful that you know them so well!

Another favorite from Mark and Graham! Again, another great gift for a new homeowner, someone who recently moved, or someone who loves hosting (whenever it's safe to do so)! The napkins are beautiful and versatile enough for any event.
